Bleach Lough Anglers Update 5th April:

Happy Easter from Bleach Lough Anglers. We hope that you and your family are keeping well.
We are delighted to inform you that the fishing season @ Bleach Lough will open on Friday 16th April 2021.

The following rules will apply:
1. Bleach Lough will open on Friday 16th April 2021 for season memberships only (no day permits).
2. Annual membership sign-up can be made by arrangement.
3. All fishing (including boat bookings) must be booked two days in advance through Declan only.
- Declan can be reached Monday-Friday 10am to 5pm only @ 087-9374891
4. Before you avail of your fishing slot at Bleach Lough you must ensure:
- you are adhering to the Governments Covid related rules
- you do not have symptoms of COVID-19
- you are not self-isolating or restricting your movements
- you are not waiting on results of a COVID-19 test
- you have not recently returned from travel abroad
5. Strict adherence to Covid rules, including social distancing, at all times.
6. Parking strictly as per layout displayed on cabin.
7. Sanitise hands, boats and fishing equipment before/ after going fishing.
- While out fishing each angler must take personal responsibility for ensuring they follow best practice (ensure you bring your own sanitizers / wipes).
8. Maximum of 12 boats on the lake on any one day, with only 2 members per boat permitted:
- exception for members of the same household
9. Maximum of 2 members on the marina (O.A.Ps).
10. Key box will be provided outside, strictly no entry to office or club container,
11. No toilet facilities will be provided at this time.
12. Life jackets are individual anglers responsibility – club will not provide like jackets.

Bleach Lough Anglers Update 12th March:
The Annual General Meeting has been deferred to a later date in the year.
The season opening 2021 will be linked to relaxation of current level 5 restriction and changes to the 5km travel limitation.

December 2020
Bleach Lough update: The lake is now open for members till the end of December.
Members need to adhere to all HSE guidelines as well as special club rules in relation to Covid.

Please note that Bleach Lough will be closed from tomorrow 21st
October until further notice.
This is inline with HSE level 5 restrictions announced for the entire country.  
The lake will remain closed for the full duration of level 5 restrictions.

Bleach Lough Anglers:  Please note that the lake will be closed for fishing from Tuesday 8th September
till Friday 11th inclusive. The lake  will reopen on Saturday 12th September.
Apology for  any inconvenience.  

Bleach Lough will be closed for fishing from Monday 27th and will re-open Friday 31st July.
Day permit will be available from 1st August. Reminder due to COVID regulations
all fishing (including day tickets) must be booked 2days in advance through Declan (087-9374891).
The club does  NOT supply life jackets (individual anglers responsibility).

Following the Gov announcement we expect to be in a position to open Bleach Lough for members only after the 18th May
subject to no changes of guidelines issued. Strict adherence to social distancing guidelines will apply to all members using the facilities.
The office will not reopen for the immediate future but membership forms with the appropriate fee can be forwarded to
Michael Mc Mahon Ballinacarriga Kildimo co Limerick. We will communicate further nearer the time.
